We want our products to be effective and safe, but its also very important to us that you fully enjoy the experience of using them. We want you to feel the intent that goes into making them and the passion we have for making your experience a great one.

We love our ingredients! Top quality butters, oils, herbs, extracts and more go into our products and we ensure that they are ethically sourced, fresh, and whenever possible organic and/or fair trade.

The Importance of HONESTY
You will always know what is in our products and how they were made. If there is anything you want to know more about just ask!

The Importance of AFFORDABILITY
We don't spend a fortune on fancy packaging or advertising. We strive to make our products as affordable as possible so that everyone can enjoy them.

The Importance of CONNECTIONS
We love our customers and try to listen to all of their suggestions and feedback. Our goal is to create a relationship with you so that we can be better able to offer you products and an experience that you love too!

The Importance of SUSTAINABILITY
Everyday we try to grow closer to becoming a more sustainable company and offering products that have less impact on the earth. As our company grows so does our ability to make better purchasing decisions that guide us toward our goals.

The Importance of FUN
We are a little cheeky sometimes and certainly never take ourselves too seriously. We want Juliet's Room to be a fun place to work and shop and we want to send everyone home with the desire to add a little more fun to their lives too!

"What's in a Name?"Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet

Our company name comes from the play ROMEO AND JULIET.

Juliet's room was her sanctuary, her private space away from the chaos in the world around her. She had her most intimate thoughts and dreams there, as well as her first night with Romeo!

The name is meant to evoke a sense of sanctuary, a place where a woman can feel safe to explore her thoughts and dreams and what it means to be a female. We hope our products will transport you to a room of your own where you can connect with your sensual side and be the woman you are meant to be.

Our Commitment

     

We are a small, but growing, company and as such we know that our practices will have an impact on the environment. We continue to analyze our day-to-day operations and over-all eco-goals and implement better practices wherever we can.

Here's what we are doing so far:

• We are a Carbon-Neutral Company.
• Our manufacturing company uses recycled shipping materials, biodegradable packing peanuts and is a green-energy neutral facility.
• All of our bottles and jars are recyclable. We use PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) plastic containers which are impact resistant, help maintain the integrity of organic ingredients and essential oils, and are completely recyclable.
  
• Most of our products are over 70% organic.
• All of our products are biodegradable.
• We do not do any testing on animals, nor do we have a third party test on our behalf (tricky tactic eh?).
• All of our products are vegetarian and many are vegan. We use honey and milk in some of our products.
• We reuse all of the packing material we receive from other suppliers by using it to ship to our customers. We encourage our customers to save and re-use it again.
• We have eliminated commuting by locating our offices in our home and our retail outlet three blocks away.
  
• We recycle the ink cartridges used to produce our labels.
• We do not use direct mail, but opt for e-mail marketing instead
• Our offices are lit with energy-efficient bulbs, use only energy-saving LED flatscreen monitors, and do not use air conditioning.
• We donate to a variety of causes including both environmental and human rights organizations.

Our Goals

Juliet's Room is run with ethical and sustainable principles at its core and celebrates the inherent sensuality of women. We will continue to move towards providing the purest, most sustainably produced products we can. It is our goal to maintain a balance between effective and luxurious skin and body care and our concerns for the planet.
